Who should I contact to get started?

If information not included in your faculty appointment letter, contact the Departmental Vice-Chair, Department/Division Administrator, and/or Senior Mentor in your hiring department.  They are familiar with departmental policies, procedures, and resources for your unit and will serve as your primary contact.

The Office for Clinical Research provides training and resources for new investigators and research staff. 

The Emory Institutional Review Board (IRB) provides additional required training for all employees, faculty, staff, students and/or agents if Emory University engaged in the conduct of human subject research. 

The Emory University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) provides training for all scientists, research technicians, animal care technicians, and others involved with animal care and use.
